G2 Esports Announce New Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Roster
By Nicholas Barth ·
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 roster for G2 Esports has gone through two major changes ahead of the Call of Duty World League Pro League qualifiers.

G2 Esports did not put together a strong performance at the first major LAN event of the 2019 Call of Duty World League season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in CWL Vegas with G2 Esports finishing the event with a 13th-16th placement. Due to the poor finish at CWL Vegas, speculation began to circulate around the Call of Duty community regarding G2 Esports possibly making a roster change for the CWL Pro League qualifiers.
Friday, December 21st saw this speculation confirmed by the organization with former FaZe Clan player Anthony "Methodz" Zinni and former Pittsburgh Knights player Andres "Lacefield" Lacefield joining the esports organization's Black Ops 4 roster.
The addition of Methodz and Lacefield to the Call of Duty roster sees Richard "Ricky" Stacy and Brice "Faccento" Faccento be released from the organization's Black Ops 4 roster.
“I’m happy to be teaming alongside a group filled with such incredible talent," said Lacefield. "I’m very confident heading into this season. Lets bring a chip home for G2 CoD!”
With the addition of Methodz, the popular organization is gaining the former FaZe Clan player who was able to secure the MVP award at CWL Atlanta in Call of Duty: WWII along with a championship as a member of Rise Nation.
“I’m beyond excited to be moving into 2019 under the G2 banner. I believe this roster is packed with talent and potential, and I can’t wait to compete on the big stage next to this roster," said Methodz.
With a great deal on the line for teams looking to secure a spot in the CWL Pro League for the Black Ops 4 season, G2 Esports will be looking for Methodz and Lacefield to help propel the team to the top of the professional Call of Duty world.
