Ninja is Close to Not Playing Fortnite Until Planes Are Removed
By Nicholas Barth ·
During a recent Twitch stream, Ninja stated that he is close to possibly not playing Fortnite until the Season 7 planes are removed.
Season 7 of Fortnite Battle Royale saw Epic Games add a brand new kind of vehicle to Fortnite in the X-4 Stormwing planes that can be found scattered around the map of the battle royale title. While the addition of the planes in Fortnite was seen as an interesting concept at the beginning of Season 7, the positive attitude towards the planes has dwindled significantly to where many members of the community would like to see Epic Games remove the planes from the battle royale title. One of these players is popular Twitch streamer Tyler "Ninja" Belvins who recently stated during a Twitch stream that he is close to not playing Fortnite until the planes are removed.
Could Ninja Quit Fortnite?
Ninja was playing with fellow popular Twitch streamer Jack "CouRage" Dunlop and became extremely frustrated when he was eliminated by an enemy player who was using the infamous Season 7 plane vehicle. While sitting in the pre-game lobby of the battle royale title, Ninja tells CouRage that he is close to not playing the battle royale game anymore until Epic Games removes the planes that were introduced at the beginning of Season 7.
At the time of this writing, Ninja is still streaming the game he is most known for on Twitch, so it does not look as though Ninja has not yet decided to completely stop playing Fortnite due to the plane vehicles. However, Epic Games is likely not to excited to see their battle royale game's most popular content creator in Ninja publicly state that he has considered stopping playing Fortnite if they do not remove a very large feature that was a centerpiece of content for Season 7.
With plenty of public outcry from the community, in addition to the latest complaint by Ninja, regarding the call for Epic Games to remove the planes from Fortnite, it would not be surprising to see Epic Games decide that the negative reception created by the introduction of the planes is not worth having the vehicle in the battle royale game.
