WSOE Fortnite Tournament
The battle royale action will be begin at 10 AM PST/ 12 PM CST/ 1 PM EST and is scheduled to last until 5 PM PST, 7 PM CST/ 8 PM EST.
Interested individuals who would like to view all of the action from the event will be able to do so on the official Twitch channel for the esports tournament organizer. You can find an embedded version of the broadcast below.
Competitive players who are participating in the battle royale esports action today have been very happy with the decision of the tournament organizer to allow them to use whatever peripherals and in-game resolution that they would like for the $100,000 competition. Officially sponsored events for the battle royale title ran by the title's developers of Epic Games in the past have had restrictions on what peripherals and resolution were allowed much to the dismay of the competitive community.
The 50 invited professional players that will be looking to claim a championship and a nice payday in the WSOE Fortnite event consist of players from various organizations. These organizations include OpTic Gaming, Cloud9, TSM, NRG Esports, Ghost Gaming, FlyQuest, GankStars, G2 Esports, FaZe Clan and Team Vitality.
With the $100,000 WSOE Fortnite Tournament being the first major competitive event for the massively popular esports title that has not been ran by Epic Games, the players competing today will be looking to show that they are a top talent when it comes to professional Fortnite and secure the lion's share of a very lucrative prize pool.
