Where is Xur? Destiny 2 Forsaken Location and Inventory for January 4

Even though he didn't get Forsaken for Christmas, Xur did manage to find some of the more useful items in his armory to bring with him to kick off the new year! Among his Exotics this week are a helpful Pulse Rifle and a must-have for raiding Hunters. This week, Xur is located in the Winding Cove of the EDZ. Here's what he's got this weekend! 

Xur Inventory for January 4, 2018

Graviton Lance - Pulse Rifle (29 Legendary Shards) - The Gravitron Lance causes the second shot of its burst to rip a hole through space-time, doing high damage and recoil with no falloff. Kills with this weapon will also cause enemy targets to detonate and spawn Void projectiles that track targets. Like we said, actually useful! Grab it for those pesky Void weeks and make running Nightfalls and Strikes a breeze. 

Celestial Nighthawk - Hunter Helmet (23 Legendary Shards) - Celestial Nighthawk is the other must-grab from Xur's inventory this week. The helmet modifies Golden Gun to fire a single high-damage shot. Enemies eliminated by the shot explode and grant you Super energy. An absolute must-have for Gunslingers who are looking to clear the raids and other activities, too. 

Dunemarchers - Titan Leggings (23 Legendary Shards) - A personal favorite for my Titan are the Dunemarchers. These greaves increase sprint speed. Sprinting builds up a static charge. After melee-attacking an enemy, that charge will chain damage to nearby enemies. Any item that can be worn by multiple subclasses is A-OK by me, plus faster movement speed is always a plus, so grab them if you've got the coin. Plus, they always seem to look awesome no matter what shader you use on them. 

Sanguine Alchemy- Warlock Chest (23 Legendary Shards) - Lastly, Warlocks can purchase the Sanguine Alchemy. These robes make standing in a Rift grant you and your allies heightened senses, allowing you to retain your radar while aiming down sights. Additionally nearby powerful enemies are visually marked and can be tracked without line of sight. Another helpful item that can be used by all but might not be as vital to your success as the other items on this list. Grab it if it's an upgrade or if it matches your playstyle, but save your shards if not.
