After a fan reached out to the publisher about putting a game on sale, the company happily obliged for a very limited run.
Devolver Digital have done it again, this time proving that they are pretty hard to beat when it comes to customer service. After a fan reached out to the company via email to request, they put a specific game, Shadow Warrior 2, on sale, the company was more than happy to oblige, though with a bit of a twist.

“I want to buy and play 'Shadow Warrior 2,' so please put it on sale right away,” the fan wrote. “Thank you. All the best, potential future purchaser.”
“Sure thing, boss,” the studio replied. “You’ve got one hour.”
As evidenced by the attached tweet, Devolver Digital did in fact put the game on sale for a very limited time, as the minutes ticked down on an otherwise humorous exchange. Shadow Warrior 2 became 75% off for the single hour, slashing the price from $39.99 down to just $10. Devolver Digital has long been a fan-favorite publisher for the antics they pull during events such as E3. With a demonstrated sense of humor that they are willing to showcase during fringe cases such as this, it’s no wonder fans are more than happy to put down money on the titles they release, even if not everyone can get their personalized sale on request.
