Group A concluded with Gambit Esports sitting pretty comfortably on top. After demolishing TEAM TEAM 2-1 and knocking down Keen Gaming 2-0, they advanced to the playoffs as the number one seed. Keen Gaming managed to take the second seed spot after winning a decider match 2-0 against Ninjas in Pyjamas.
Group B saw EHOME secure first seed after dominating Playmakers Esports and OG 2-0 a -piece. OG were able to salvage things and pick up the second seed after taking down BOOM ID 2-0, while both Playmakers and BOOM were forced into the lower bracket.
The playoffs will kick off with EHOME taking on Keen Gaming in just a few hours. The winner of this match will move on to the upper bracket finals, while the loser will be sent to the lower bracket for a final shot at victory. Next up will see Gambit Esports taking on OG for the final spot in the upper bracket finals, while again the loser will have to battle through the lower bracket for redemption. No teams have been completely eliminated from the tournament yet, so everyone is still in the running for the $125,000 grand prize, and a spot at the Chongqing Major later this month.
