League Of Legends Watch Rewards Return For 2019 Season
By Zac Cameron ·
You can earn rewards just for tuning in and catching the matches!

If you’re a fan of watching professional League of Legends, and a fan of getting free stuff, then Riot Games has just the thing for you. After the success of the program last year, Riot has again brought back the “Watch Rewards” system, allowing players to earn in-game rewards for tuning in to live matches.
The Watch Rewards system will allow players to earn Icons, Emotes, XP, and Blue Essence all during the regular season of the various professional leagues. To earn the rewards, players will simply have to watch the games from the lolesports website, after linking their in-game account.

Players can begin gaining rewards pretty much right away, as the various Spring Splits around the world have staggered start times. Brazil kicks off their Spring Split on January 12th, then on January 18th both Europe and Oceania will start their run. January 19th will see Latin America, Japan, and Turkey all start their competitions, with North America kicking off on January 26th.
The Spring Split watch missions will begin on January 11th, and run through until April 23rd, with access given out in waves on a region-by-region basis. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be able to see what missions are available and begin to earn progress on those missions. Keep in mind, should a mission require you to spectate an official League of Legends match, you’ll need to watch at least 10 minutes of the game to receive credit.
