The Chinese powerhouse team is back on top once again, earning their spot at the Chongqing Major after dominating the Bucharest Minor.

The Bucharest Minor has concluded after an intense weekend of action, and a victor has been crowned. EHOME has once again risen to the top to claim victory, taking down some of the toughest teams in Dota 2 on their path to earning not just a grand prize of $125,000, but also a guaranteed spot at the upcoming Chongqing Major later this month. Here’s a brief recap of their journey.

First off the bat in playoffs saw EHOME taking down Keen Gaming in a quick 2-0 series. After that, their next opponent was Gambit Esports in the upper bracket finals, a series that again saw EHOME win 2-0, though this was a much tougher fight than their previous series. The first game against Gambit actually dragged on for quite a while, reaching over 72 minutes before the Chinese powerhouse could put their opponents away and advance to the Grand Finals.
Gambit Esports were sent to the lower bracket, where the remaining teams had been battling hard for a second chance at glory. There would be no magic lower bracket run however, as Gambit eventually faced off against Keen Gaming in the lower bracket finals for the final spot in the Grand Finals, cementing the reasons why these two teams had initially advanced to the upper bracket. Gambit would claim victory 2-0 to set up their rematch against EHOME after another long 71+ minute match.
The Grand Finals saw EHOME get off to a good start and claim game one, however Gambit bounced back and picked up game two to tie things up. Unfortunately for Gambit Esports, EHOME were able to quickly secure victory in games three and four, locking in their victory and earning their spot at the upcoming Chongqing Major later this month.
