A Fortnite Glider Redeploy Item will be coming in this week;s 7.20 update for the battle royale title.

The feature of glider redeploy in Fortnite Battle Royale has been a highly discussed issue in the community for the popular title, as many enjoyed the mechanic during the Fortnite glider redeploy test. However, others felt that the game mechanic hurt the overall flow of the battle royale title with players having the ability to use it whenever they wanted. Seeing both sides of the discussion, Epic Games has announced that an itemized Fortnite glider redeploy item will be coming in the upcoming 7.20 update.

Update will 7.20 will see the introduction of the redeploy feature that will take up an inventory slot for players and will be found in the same manner as other pieces of loot. Players will not need to select the item, as it will activate like it did during the mechanic's testing period when it is in a player's inventory. Each deploy of the Fortnite glider item will remove one charge with the item no longer able to be used when all of the charges have been exhausted.
Epic Games also stated in their announcement of the new addition that players will automatically be granted one with 50 charges in large team based game modes, such as Soaring 50s.
No information on the exact amount of charges players will have with the new item when they pick it up in regular modes was made available by Epic Games.
With the addition of the new Fortnite glider redeploy item and the scoped revolver gun coming in the 7.20 update, players of the battle royale game will have plenty of new things to try out this week.
