What is the Add Shaggy Rogers to Mortal Kombat 11 Petition?
By Nicholas Barth ·
Shaggy Rogers is a fan favorite cartoon character, and many fans want to see him in Mortal Kombat 11 when the highly anticipated title releases.
Mortal Kombat and Scooby-Doo are two of the most popular entertainment franchises that have existed. Due to the highly graphic nature of the fighting game franchise and the kid friendly environment of Scooby-Doo, the thought of a crossover between the two franchises would be met with laughter by most individuals. However, a large group of players have banded together and created a petition to add the fan favorite character of Shaggy Rogers from Scooby-Doo to the upcoming title of Mortal Kombat 11 that has already collected a very impressive amount of signatures.
Add Shaggy Rogers to Mortal Kombat 11
The petition to add the lovable Scooby-Doo character of Shaggy Rogers to Mortal Kombat 11 was created by the Woken News Network in an effort to convince Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NeatherRealm Studios to add Shaggy Rogers to Mortal Kombat 11.
While the petition to add the popular character has been treated as a hilarious joke by many, the call to action has already gathered 69,425 signatures at the time of this writing and has created a burning desire in some players to see Shaggy Rogers have the chance to go up against the likes of Scorpion or Dark Raiden.
With past entries in the franchise having introduced various guest characters from outside entertainment products, such as the horror movie legend of Jason, it would not be surprising to see entry 11 in the franchise include guest characters from popular culture in its roster.
Unfortunately, it seems to be highly unlikely to see the likes of Shaggy Rogers come from the cartoon world of Scooby-Doo to the ultra violent reality that Mortal Kombat 11 will be based on in what would be a very unique character add.
Would you like to see Mortal Kombat 11 add an out of the box character like Shaggy Rogers to its highly anticipated roster of fighters or should this unique petition stay as an amusing joke? Join our community and let us know in the comments below!
