State Farm Sponsors First Esports Athlete in Rogue Fortnite Captain DrLupo

Popular Twitch streamer and Fortnite Captain of Team Rogue DrLupo has become the first esports athlete sponsored by State Farm.
Leading home and auto insurance provider State Farm announced its sponsorship of popular Twitch streamer and Rogue Fortnite Captain Benjamin "DrLupo" Lupo on Tuesday, January 29th. The sponsorship of DrLupo is the first of State Farm for an individual esports athlete and continues the commitment by the company to being a major force in the ever growing industry.
Having risen to being one of the followed and watched streamers on the platform of Twitch, DrLupo has amassed a following of 2.9 Twitch followers and seven million followers across various other social media platforms with thousands of viewers routinely watching DrLupo collect highlight eliminations and Victory Royales during his streams.
The Rogue Fortnite Captain also holds a well documented history of highly successful charitable work that includes the raising of 1.3 million dollars for St. Jude's Research Hospital throughout all of 2018.

The sponsorship of DrLupo is the latest in a long line of esports initiatives that State Farm has taken on in recent years. State Farm had previously become the first non-endemic sponsor of the North American League Championship Series (LCS), the first partner of the NBA to sign a separate deal to become a sponsor of the NBA 2K League, and a major sponsor of the Rocket League Championship Series (RCLS).
DrLupo will receive support by the company for his Twitch streams in the form of branded replays, event-based remote streams, sponsored giveaways, live in-stream stunts, product integration and social content.

With the sponsorship deal between DrLupo and State Farm now official, one of the esports world's most popular Twitch streamers and Fortnite players will have the support of one of the industry's leading sponsors behind him.
