Now, it seems other organizations are catching on to the trend, with NRG Esports reaching out online to try and recruit players for any potential upcoming tournaments.

Earlier today, NRG Esports took to Twitter to recruit players for their org, joining rosters in many other esports titles including Fortnite, Counter-Strike, and even the San Francisco Shock in the Overwatch League.

"Some of you are too busy playing Apex Legends to realize the legends that you could become if you reached the Apex of your potential" ❤️

“Some of you are too busy playing Apex Legends to realize the legends that you could become if you reached the Apex of your potential” reads the tweet, with an offer for both players and content creators to submit their applications to the organization. Not long after making the tweet, the team put out another directing interested parties to a Google Form, indicating the high level of replies NRG must have received since their initial announcement.
