CoD Pros ZooMaa And Rated Trade Shots Over Social Media

Call of Duty pro players Tommy ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto and Rhys ‘Rated’ Price have traded some heated words on social media today, with the back and forth drawing attention from other pro players in the scene. The incident started when ZooMaa said “Not sure why Rated always has my name in his mouth, has he won an event?”, a possible nod to other comments about the recent failure of FaZe Clan to make the Pro League.

“Why you asking me to team then buddy? Get comfy to watch me [in the Pro League] over the next couple months,” came the reply from Rated. ZooMaa clarified that he had sent out messages to all Pro League teams, including Red Reserve, the team Rated plays for, to ask if he could fill in as a sub. ZooMaa would eventually land on OpTic Gaming as a temporary fill in for Dashy.

The conversation quickly devolved into the usual angry posturing you would see in an argument online, with calls to repeat insults in person as well as vague threats of “Or what” passed back and forth.

The situation was enough to attract attention from other members of the CoD pro community, with some expressing delight at seeing the two players come to verbal blows. ZooMaa and Rated are not set to face off against each other any time soon in the Pro League however, though anything could happen with roster shuffles a regular occurrence.
