Fortnite World Cup 2019

Let us just start by saying that there is a ridiculously amount of money that will be up for grabs for players to win. $1,000,000 will be on the line for each of the ten weekly online qualifiers that will be taking place from April 13 to June 16 in order to determine who will qualify for the World Cup Finals.

A $30,000,000 prize pool will then be on the line for the 2019 Fortnite World Cup finals where the top 100 solo players and top 50 duos from the online qualifiers will be battling it out in New York City from July 26th to July 28th. Each of the players who qualify for the $30,000,000 Finals tournament will be guaranteed to walk away with $50,000 with the grand prize of the solo tournament being awarded $3,000,000.

Epic Games did not reveal the exact locations of where the $30,000,000 Fortnite World Cup 2019 Finals would be taking place or the exact broadcast details for the highly anticipated event. However, as with previous esports events for the battle royale title, all of the action will likely be broadcasted on the official Twitch channel for the title.

In addition to the $30,000,000 event at the 2019 Fortnite World Cup finals, Epic Games will be hosting various other events not associated with the battle royale version of the title that will feature custom challenges in a variety of different game modes and playing formats.
