A volcano has sprung up on the map of the battle royale title, and it has brought many of the map's alterations. While an official asset graphic distributed by Epic Games showed off the return of Risky Reels, the actual area of this location is only three buildings and not the Risky Reels that players knew and love before it was replaced with The Block. The new Fortnite Season 8 map changes also brought the locations of Lazy Lagoon and Sunny Steps. The location of The Block was also moved closer to Junk Junction.
There is also now a volcano in the environment of the battle royale game thanks to all of the new Fortnite Season 8 map changes that can be found Southwest of Sunny Steps where lava can be found. Players can bounce on the lava, but it will cause damage to players every time they do. There is also a sand bar with multiple bodies of water that can be found west of what many thought to be Risky Reels.
