One of the first Fortnite Season 8 Week 1 challenges that Epic Games has tasked players with completing is to visit seven locations of the newly added pirate camps. The pirate camps in Fortnite Season 8 are stone structures that have a black octopus flag waving above them to mark their location. You can find an example of one of these structures for this particular entry in the Week 1 challenges below. You will need to be careful, however, as there will many other enemy players traveling to these areas as well.

These pirate camps locations for the first of the Fortnite Season 8 Week 1 challenges can be found all across the newly revamped map of the popular battle royale title. You can find the locations of seven of these pirate camps below thanks to a report by Heavy that has discovered seven of these locations.

• On the South side of the volcano
• On the border of F5 that is South of Loot Lake
• Above the river in section E2
• The Snow area that is Southwest of Tilted Towers
• At the end of the trail that is West of Pleasant Park
• The bridge Northwest of Paradise Palms
• On the mountain that is located in the middle of Fatal Field and Salty Springs

Players who visit one of these locations for the pirate camps in order to complete this particular challenge of the Fortnite Season 8 Week 1 challenges will not have to finish out the match they are playing to get credit. This means that you will be able to leave a match immediately in order to jump into a new one and land where a different set of the challenge structures can be located.
