Ninja Teases New Fortnite Map for Ninja and iKON Event

While the map of Fortnite Battle Royale has seen plenty of changes take place over the course of the game's life, it has been the only environment that Fortnite players have had the ability to play on. This has led to many members of the community requesting Epic Games to create another playable area for Fortnite recently. However, the second map to be created for the popular battle royale title might not be what fans were expecting thanks to a surprise reveal of a new Fortnite map being created by star Twitch streamer Tyler "Ninja" Belvins on Monday, March 4th.

During his Twitch stream on March 4th, Ninja announced to his viewers that he would be attending an event in New York City on Saturday, March 16th where he would be playing Fortnite with iKON K-Pop star Jung Chanwoo on a newly created map for the event.

"I'm gonna be heading to New York on March 16th to play with one of these guys in an epic siege match on a brand new map exclusive to Fortnite. That's right. A brand new map literally built for this event that you guys can participate in," said Ninja regarding the new Fortnite map for the upcoming iKON event that he will be participating in.

However, it currently remains unclear whether or not this piece of content for the Ninja and iKON event in New York City will be a permanent addition to the game or if it will only be used for the upcoming Ninja and iKON event.

With a large section of the community for the battle royale title anxiously awaiting to see a new map be added into Fortnite soon, there will likely be a great deal of disappointment if this piece of content is only made available for the Ninja and iKON event.
