Apex Legends Hitboxes Chart Might Have You Switch Characters
By Nicholas Barth ·
This Apex Legends hitboxes chart could motivate you to change from a bigger character to a smaller one.

The roster for Apex Legends features a diverse class of playable characters that all offer unique abilities to help players achieve victory in a match. However, the various abilities that the characters in Apex Legends offer are not the only things that set them apart from each other. Over the course of the battle royale title's first month of being available to play individuals have noticed a significant disparity in the size of the hitboxes that each character posses. This has caused some frustrations in the community, as players who play as bigger characters are easier to hit than players who use smaller characters. This has led to the creation of a chart that shows off all of the hitboxes for each of the available characters in the game.
Apex Legends Hitboxes Chart
As with other games, the characters of Apex Legends all have designated hitboxes where being shot at will register damage to the character. Unfortunately, in Apex Legends, these hitboxes are vastly different from each other and results in smaller character like Wraith being much harder to hit than larger characters like Gibraltar and Caustic. This disparity is shown in a chart created by community member zhrooms that was posted on the battle royale title's official subreddit.
You can find this particular chart for the differences of the hitboxes found in Apex Legends below.
As you can see from the chart above, players who play as the likes of Pathfinder, Caustic, and Gibraltar are much more likely to receive damage from an enemy when compared to the likes of Wraith, Bangalore, and Lifeline. The two characters of Bloodhound and Mirage are then found right in the middle of the hitboxes chart for Apex Legends.
While the numbers from the Apex Legends hitboxes chart should not stop players from playing as their favorite characters if they do not want to switch, this chart does give players an awareness that playing as a larger character does put you at a slight disadvantage when it comes to receiving damage in a match.
