Shroud Makes Incredible Gesture After Hitting 100K Subs

Former professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Michael "shroud" Grzesiek is no longer officially competing in the world of esports, but shroud is still dominating in the gaming world with the star Twitch streamer recently hitting the monumental mark of 100,000 subscribers during a recent stream. While hitting the milestone of 100K subscribers on Twitch was a huge moment for shroud, the following gesture made by the high-profile personality towards a streamer diagnosed with cancer stole the spotlight of the highlight filled stream for shroud. 

The mark of 100K subscribers reportedly puts shroud at the very top of the streaming platform of Twitch when it comes to the content creators with the most subscribers. Routinely pulling in tens of thousands of streamers to every stream with his jaw-dropping skills in first person shooter and battle royale games and taking full advantage of the massive popularity of the newest title to take over Twitch in Apex Legends, many believed it was just a matter of time before shroud hit the 100K subscriber mark. 

However, reaching 100K subs was not the only noteworthy action that took place during the historic stream from the popular personality. After hitting the 100K milestone, shroud learned that a fellow Twitch streamer by the name of Jennifer "jenniez_tv" Shih whom he had met a CS:GO event during his competing days had been diagnosed with colon cancer.

Following his learning of this information, the 100K streaming star directed his viewers to go to the stream of jenniez_tv and to show support. The Twitch streamer also went on to donate $2,500 towards the $5,000 donation goal jenniez_tv has set up in order to pay for her medical costs. Contributions towards the cancer treatment for Jennifer Shih can be made on her official GoFundMe page. 

Even though shroud had just reached a truly impressive career milestone with his new mark of 100K Twitch subscribers, the talented player made sure to not this accomplishment get in the way of him helping jenniez_tv in a incredible gesture that many will no doubt never forget.
