Epic Games has announced that a new vehicle called The Baller will be added into the battle royale title.
The early stages of Season 8 of Fortnite have brought many changes to the popular battle royale title, and it looks like there will be no slowing down for developer Epic Games when it comes to adding new content to Fortnite in Season with the recent announcement of The Baller Vehicle.
New Fortnite Vehicle The Baller
Sunday, March 10th saw Epic Games update the in-game news tab to announce that The Baller would be making its debut in the battle royale game in the near future with the expected release window being Week 3 of Season 8.
"Roll through the competition with the newest vehicle, The Baller!" is the official description provided by Epic Games in the announcement of the new Fortnite vehicle in The Baller.
Featuring what looks to be a mounted grapple gun on the front, the new Fortnite vehicle of The Baller could perhaps make its way around the map of the game by players using the front mounted grapple gun to pull themselves to locations and create momentum for them to roll like the dangerous hamsters we are all.
With Season 8 of Fortnite vaulting the previously new vehicle of the X-4 Stormwing plane that had been introduced in Season 7 following consistent and negative feedback from the community, it remains to be seen what the community's reception of The Baller will be when it makes its debut. However, the overall positive reception of the Driftboard shows that there is a possibility that this new item will become a positive addition to the game.
What do you think of the new Fortnite vehicle that was officially announced on March 10th? Do you think The Baller will be a positive or negative addition to the battle royale title? Let us know in the comments below!
