Former TSM Fortnite Pro Cowboy Addresses Accusations

March 6th saw professional esports organization Team SoloMid (TSM) release professional Fortnite Battle Royale player Noah ‘Cowboy’ Cmiel from its roster following Cowboy being accused of sending inappropriate messages to an underage female streamer. Besides a message in his offline Twitch chat on March 6th stating that he would be hiring a lawyer to clear his name, the former TSM professional Fortnite player had been silent on all fronts regarding the situation. However, this all changed on Wednesday, March 14th when Cowboy posted an official statement addressing the accusations against him on his Twitter account.

Cowboy began his public address of the accusations stating that they were entirely false. The former professional Fortnite player for TSM also explained that he did not delete his Twitter and Discord accounts but had only deactivated his Twitter account and closed his direct messages on Discord due to advisement he had received. He went on to explain that he had wanted to focus himself on clearing things up his family and girlfriend.

Finally, Cowboy concluded his public address of the allegations against him by stating that his passion and fire for the competitive Fortnite community is still very much alive and thanked his mother, sisters, and girlfriend.

The majority of the reaction by members of the Fortnite community to the Twitter post by the Fortnite player was of a supportive nature with many individuals stating how they were angry that only the accusations themselves caused Cowboy to be released from TSM. One of these individuals had been popular Twitch streamer TrainwrecksTV who didn't hold back his criticism of the organization of TSM for releasing Cowboy following him being accused of sending the inappropriate messages to an underage female.
