Sssniperwolf Kids Choice Awards Win Called Out by KEEMSTAR
By Nicholas Barth ·
The Kids Choice Awards Gamer of the Year award was won by Sssniperwolf in a decision that did not sit well with YouTuber KEEMSTAR.
The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards show took place on Saturday, March 24th and saw a variety of entertainment personalities from multiple industries receive awards for their work and accomplishments. However, not all of the winners were seen as deserving as in the case of the Kids Choice Awards Gamer of the Year award winner of Alia "Sssniperwolf" Shelesh who saw plenty of backlash and criticism following her win. One of the loudest critics of the Kids Choice Awards Gamer of the Year award being awarded to Sssniperwolf was YouTuber Daniel "KEEMSTAR" Keem who believed that Twitch streamer Tyler "Ninja" Belvins should have taken home the honor.
Sssniperwolf Kids Choice Awards Controversy
Taking to his Twitter account, KEEMSTAR stated that the Kids Choice Awards are "100% BS" and are "based on literally nothing" and then went on to state how it was comical that she had won the Gamer of the Year award over Ninja.
Kids choice Awards are a 100% BS based on literally nothing.

One of the main reasons that KEEMSTAR and plenty of other members of the gaming community had for being upset with Sssniperwolf winning the Gamer of the Year award was that the YouTuber has often been accused of not providing her own gameplay for her videos stating that her boyfriend would play with Sssniperwolf commentating over the footage in order to pass the gameplay on as her own.
SssniperWolf has been exposed for years for not getting her own gameplay. Her boyfriend would get the gameplays then she would just Commentate over them like it was hers.

As a YouTube and gaming entertainment historian. Her winning a Kids Choice Award for gaming is insulting. pic.twitter.com/KV2qEo2O4r
Another major complaint regarding Sssniperwolf winning the Kids Choice Gamer of the Year award was that her content is no longer associated with gaming compared to Ninja who has helped push video game culture into the mainstream during his massive rise in popularity with Fortnite Battle Royale on Twitch and YouTube.
