MrBeast and shroud Experience the Worst Timed Apex Legends Crash Ever

Michael "shroud" Grzesiek and Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson are two of the most popular Twitch and YouTube content creators in the world. With shroud routinely pulling in tens of thousands of viewers to his Twitch streamers thanks to immense skill at battle royale and first-person shooter titles, and MrBeast collecting millions of views on his YouTube videos showing the YouTuber often donating ridiculous amounts of money in major philanthropistic efforts.

These two types of content by shroud and MrBeast collided on Monday, March 26th, when MrBeast was donating thousands of dollars to a charity shroud had chosen based on the Twitch streamer's performance in a game of Apex Legends for a challenge the YouTube had issued the former professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player. Unfortunately, shroud experienced one of the worst timed crashes ever in the middle of said Apex Legends game.

During the middle of an Apex Legends match, the Twitch streamer had been able to rack up a total of $30,000 from MrBeast that would be donated to charity. However, as shroud was looting an enemy player in order to help himself collect even more money for charity from MrBeast, the Apex Legends match that the Twitch streamer was playing in suddenly crashed.

Despite the Apex Legends crash that technically disqualified the match where the former CS:GO pro had earned $30,000 from MrBeast for charity, the high-profile YouTuber went on to donate the large sum of money despite the Apex Legends game crash.

The charity stream featuring MrBeast from shroud was a highly successful fundraising effort by the Twitch personality, as he was able to raise a total of $112,000 that he announced would be going to three different charities. $10,000 will be heading to a no-kill animal shelter, $32,000 will be donated to a veteran's charity, and $70,000 will be going to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.

This charitable effort by shroud comes at the same time that popular Twitch streamers Tyler "Ninja" Belvins, Ben "DrLupo" Lupo, Timothy "TimTheTatman" Betar, Action Jaxon (real name Paul), and Minnesota Twins Major League Baseball player Trevor May announced a new project to also raise funds for St. Judes.

While the Apex Legends crash that shroud and MrBeast suffered occurred at the worst possible time, it ultimately did not put a damper on the worthwhile philanthropistic campaign that was able to take place.
