League of Legends New Epic Skins Showcases Cats Vs Dogs
By TJ Denzer ·
The new season of Epic Skins for League of Legends have been announced and it renews the classic feud of fuzzy friends: cats or dogs?
Cats vs Dogs is a debate that has been around as long as… well… Cats and Dogs, but it’s not stopping League of Legends from dipping their foot beans into the fuzzy friend feud. The new season of Epic Skins has been announced for League, and it features a pet show-like theme of felines and canines for players to peruse (purruse?).
The new Epic Skins were announced on League of Legends Twitter and YouTube on March 27, 2019. On the dog side, Fizz comes in full dog form, looking like a cocker spaniel, complete with a tennis ball ultimate and summonable, big, goofy dog-themed ult to devour his foes from below. Joining him is Corki flying a Corgi-themed plane in to battle. Barking rockets out, Corki’s Corgi is as deadly as it is adorable.

On the cat side, Yorick brings his minions of kittens to fight for the clawed cause, complete with a plushie cat wall and a regal cat beast as his ult. He’s joined by Rengar, who brings his ferocious hunt in a not-so-ferocious display of rainbows aura roars and cardboard boxes. Rengar is by no means small, but he fits, so he sits.
The whole collections is a bizarre yet somewhat adorable colorful display of creativity for the new generation of League of Legends champion skins. We can’t deny we’re cat people, but a battle pug-riding Sejuani probably could have pushed us over the fence on the matter. Either way, the Cats Vs Dogs skins are available now either singularly or in bundles. You can check out more details on the Cats Vs Dogs League of Legends page.
Good thing Cats Vs Dogs is injecting some cuteness into the scene too, because the fight in the LCS is getting downright nasty with dominant displays by Echo Fox and Team SoloMid going into the Spring Split Playoffs.
