TimtheTatman Wins $5,000 Playing Uno With Ninja
By Wyatt Fossett ·
Ninja and friends played Mattel's card game Uno for way too much money during his After Dark Twitch stream. Unsurprisingly, hijinks ensued.

In part to protest against what some are calling an “atrocious” update to Fortnite (inciting a small flame war between Ninja and DrDisRespect earlier in the day), Ninja and his regular group of Twitch streamer pals took the virtual tabletop. Thursday night saw TimtheTatman, CouRage JD, and Marcel (IDoWork) playing Uno with Ninja.
At one point in the night, the Twitch charts even had Uno ranked a few hundred viewers higher than Fortnite, as the four started getting crazier, and betting more money.

During the squad-stream -- a new feature on Twitch that mimics the Mixer co-streaming capabilities -- the four quickly started getting out of hand, and the bets on both their duo matches and solos stacked to a dizzying number.
Big Pots and Potty Mouths
After multiple games in which a 20 gifted subs from each of the losing players was the wager (that works out to be roughly $100 each), the entire squad got itchy for bigger bets.
In their first large wager match, TimtheTatman walked away from the digital table -- he stood up and walked away from his own table as well -- with a bonkers $1500 pot. That’s 100 tier-1 subs donated from each of the three losers.

Throughout the night, many comments were made on their intentions to beat out Fortnite and prove that “their patch is a f***ing dumpster fire”, or so Tim would come to coin it. But there wasn't much lingering on the subject, partially because the topic had been talked to death already, but mostly due to the large real-life dollars at stake.
The $3,000 Uno Game
As the night grew later, and folks like TimtheTatman and CouRageJD needed to shut off their streams for the day, the stakes grew to their peak. It all culminated in a 100 tier-2 bet ($1000 per loser), making the total pot for this single game of digital Uno a staggering $3000.

TimtheTatman, riding his hype-wave of stellar play, and banking on the failures of others (who may or may not have been intoxicated), won the hand in quick order. The fallout was roughly 30 minutes of Ninja and Marcel screaming in hilarious frustration, while CouRageJD simply quit, and shut off his stream without even saying goodbye.
In total, TimtheTatman won roughly $5,000 or more (with his doubles winnings added). And Ninja copped to losing “somewhere around $4,000 on the night” before he switched over to League of Legends.
While the most interesting thing to come from the After Dark stream today is definitely Tim winning 5k playing digital Uno, the fact is that some of Twitch’s most popular crew are unabashedly attempting to sink Fornite’s ratings on the platform. Currently, there is no public response from Fortnite or their creators Epic Games regarding the backlash and response from their latest game update.
