Taking to his Twitter account late Monday, April 1st, shroud announced that he would indeed be competing in the North American half of the Twitch Rivals Apex Legends tournament on April 2nd.
Sorry for the mediocre stream ;( I'll be playing apex rivals tomorrow. I'm expecting it to be a disaster due to head to head matches with all the cheating going on. monkaS

While the content creator explained his intention to compete in the latest edition of Twitch Rivals Apex Legends, the talented player stated that he does not believe the event will go smoothly due to the fact that the tournament is based on head to matches and the infamous cheating problem that is plaguing the battle royale game from Respawn Entertainment.
Despite his hesitation towards the Rivals tournament, shroud will be competing in his first event since his serious scooter accident that resulted in the streamer getting multiple surgeries on his elbow that have made streaming and playing difficult. However, shroud at 50% is better than a majority of the gaming world's players, so the Twitch Rivals Apex Legends team of shroud will still be very fortunate to have the player on their team for the tournament.
