Overwatch Sojourn and Maximilien - Who Are They?

Monday, April 8th saw Blizzard Entertainment officially announce the start and end dates for the 2019 Overwatch Archives event that will be going by the name of Storm Rising. As with past Overwatch Archives events, the 2019 Storm Rising event will see players play as a group of the first person shooter title's roster in a player versus environment mission that takes place in the history of the game's lore. This year's mission will see the likes of Tracer, Genji, Mercy, and Winston take center stage. However, it will also have two mysterious characters playing major roles in Sojourn and Maximilien, and we have everything you need to know about Sojourn and Maximilien covered for you!

Overwatch Sojourn

Not much is known about the mysterious voice of Sojourn who proposes the mission of Storm Rising to Commander Jack Morrison in order to catch Maximilien. With her strong voice and ability to propose missions to Morrison, it is highly likely that Sojourn was a high ranking member of Overwatch that worked directly alongside Soldier: 76. While not much information is currently known about Sojourn besides her current involvement in the Archives 2019 event of Storm Rising, there is a possibility that players will learn more about Sojourn and her backstory through the upcoming event.

Overwatch Maximilien

Even though information about the mysterious character of Sojourn is hard to come by at the moment there is a solid amount of lore surrounding Maximilien who will be the main target of the Overwatch Archives 2019 Storm Rising event. Maximilien was the Omnic accountant for the Talon operative of Doomfist and settled in Havana, Cuba where the Storm Rising event is set to take place. Currently a member of the Talon council, Maximilien has never been spotted in the title itself but has appeared in extensive pieces of the title's lore with a major role in the Doomfist: Masquerade comic.

With Doomfist being clean in terms of legal ammunition to take him down for good, Overwatch will be looking to get the dirt they need on Doomfist by tracking down his accountant of Maximilien in Rising Storm.

Thanks to the 2019 Overwatch Archives event of Storm Rising putting Sojourn and Maximilien right into the middle of the Overwatch universe currently, players are likely excited to learn even more about the two characters when the highly anticipated mission arrives later this month.
