Fortnite v8.30 Update Patch Notes Disappoint Community
By Nicholas Barth ·
The Fortnite community was not pleased with the patch notes for the recently implemented v8.30 update that went live on Wednesday, April 10th.

Wednesday, April 10th saw developer Epic Games introduce the v8.30 update to the live servers of Fortnite Battle Royale. While the v8.30 update and its patch notes implemented a variety of changes to Fortnite in the form of the new Reboot Van and Buccaneer's Bounty challenges, the patch notes for the v8.30 Fortnite update left many members of the battle royale title's community very disappointed, as the lack of the return of the popular health and material siphon mechanic and other much-requested features did not sit well with players.
Fortnite v8.30 Update Patch Notes
The v8.30 patch notes are the latest example of the Fortnite community pointing out how they can not understand why Epic Games will not listen to its player base and just does not seem to care about what they have to say regarding what the community wants for the battle royale title. From high-profile Twitch streamers and professional Fortnite competitors to casual players, there were plenty of individuals who voiced their displeasure with the v8.30 update patch notes when they were first released on April 10th.

I played from October 2017 and I stopped playing after they removed siphon, and I’m not playing again until they revert it ??♂️

Unfortunately for the players who were hoping to see the return of the siphon mechanic and other requested features from the community, the new set of patch notes did not deliver, and they will have to wait until the next major update to see if Epic Games will begin to listen to the feedback from the players who love their game.
However, for the time being, players who wish to play the battle royale title will have to experience it without the features that many believe made the title much better and continue to voice their thoughts on the current state of the game.
