Dr DisRspect Roasts Stream Snipers During Twitch Stream

With Twitch streamers becoming some of the most popular entertainment personalities in the world, there are always plenty of eyes on the platform's streamers that attract large audiences. Unfortunately, this has led to an immense increase in the activity of streaming sniping where individuals use the stream of a content creator to unfairly locate them in an online multiplayer game and eliminate them and get their names in front of the streamer's viewers. High-profile Twitch personality Dr DisRespect has been the target of plenty of Twitch stream snipers and recently delivered a brutal roasting of these kinds of individuals.

While taking part in his Triple Threat challenge where Dr DisRespect competes to earn a victory in three different battle royale titles in a single Twitch stream, Dr DisRespect was targeted by a stream sniper in the middle of a Battlefield V Firestorm match. This incident led to Dr DisRespect stating an unfiltered opinion on the people who take part in stream sniping.

"These stream snipers, they are the most pathetic level of like a human that is possible out there," said Dr DisRespect. "They all live in their mommy's basements. That's number one. Number two, they have never had a job. They don't know what discipline is like. They've never played any sports, right. They got Cs and Ds in High School and in Elementary school. They've pretty much been a failure their whole life. Why? Because they got a bratty attitude, and their parents let them get away with it."

Titles like Fortnite Battle Royale have taken some measures in order to help Twitch streamers like Dr DisRespect and content creators from other platforms combat stream snipers by allowing them to hide their in-game names when playing. Unfortunately, even these kinds of methods have not been able to completely eradicate the issue of stream sniping that players like Dr DisRespect often find themselves the target of.

Stream delays are also another way for Twitch streamers to try and stop stream snipers from being able to accurately find their location or get into their matches. However, streamers often do not like to delay their streams, as they want their viewers to be able to watch exactly what is going on when it occurs on their Twitch stream.
