Paris Eternal's Greyy Hits Insane Ana Grenade in OWL Play
By Wyatt Fossett ·
It will be in the conversation for the greatest "Kobe" grenade lob in competitive FPS history. Watch as Paris Eternal's flex-support lobs a flawless blind Ana anti-heal grenade.

Week 2 of the second stage in the Overwatch League 2019 is underway, and already we’ve seen some great moments in and out of the game. In what has to be the “you’ve gotta see this” moment of the year so far, Paris Eternal’s flex-support Greyy gets the dive on the Orisa/Bastion hold by lobbing a shockingly accurate anti-heal grenade almost halfway across the map.
Hanamura is an Assault map-type and has a handful of very viable choke points on defense. The strongest of which is right out of the gate, protecting point “A” at either the gate entrance or the high-point next to the gong-room.
One of the most frequent pro-league strategies is plopping down an Orisa shield on the high-point, with a Bastion behind it. The distance from the entrance to the Orisa is large enough to cause a problem for attacking teams.
With dive-composition team hero choices out of the current meta, this Orisa and pocketed Bastion aren’t the easiest thing to overcome. That is, unless you’re the Kobe Bryant of the Overwatch League like Greyy is.
The Ana (or flex DPS) main knew precisely where to aim his anti-heal grenade to make it land above and behind the Orisa shield. With three members of the Florida Mayhem “purpled” from the splash, the Paris Eternal had no problem jumping in and taking the team out. They would easily go on to take that first point. All on the back of that one lofty grenade.
Competing with teammate Damien “Hyp” Souville for the starting flex-support, the first stage of the season saw no sign of the Portuguese Luis “Greyy” Perestrolo. After an abysmal showing in Stage 1, the Paris Eternal needed some freshness and their “Ana savant” might be the answer.
With plays like this on Ana to help his team on their way to a very decisive victory against the struggling Florida Mayhem.
So far in Stage 2 of the Overwatch League’s 2019 season, the Paris Eternal are looking rather strong. With a 2W - 1L record, the Eternal may just turn out to be the team everyone thought they were.
