League of Legends European Masters Standings Group Stage Day 5

The European Masters Group Stage is finally upon us and there has been a lot of excitement and plenty of expectations met so far. After an amazing weekend of League of Legends with G2 Esports winning the 2019 LEC Spring Championship and Team Liquid winning their third North American Championship in a row, we definitely don't want to stop watching top-tier gameplay.

The ESL and Riot Games presented European Masters Tournament brings all of the best teams from semi-pro leagues around Europe together. It’s an especially great place for pro-league and LEC teams to scout.

Just this past offseason, G2 Esports snatched up mid-laner and Caps replacement Nemesis after his team cleaned house at the European Masters. “It helped since EU Masters had bigger viewership than regional leagues and it brought much-needed attention,” said Nemesis in an interview with LoLEsports. SK Gaming’s Rookie of the Split Selfmade was also plucked from Nemesis’ same MAD Lions team.

Sixteen teams lived past the play-in stage in order to qualify for the Groups Stages, where the top two teams from each group will qualify for the Knockout Stage.

Matches so far have been exciting and have us greatly looking forward to the rest of the Group Stage, and the pending Playoffs. With teams like Spain’s MAD Lions E.C., and Premier League teams from LEC brands like Misfits, Fnatic, SK, and Splyce, there are plenty of amazingly talented League of Legends players going at it on the rift for European glory.

Here are the Standings for the Group Stage thus far.
