What exactly will be changed, added, or taken away in the battle royale title by the way of the 8.40 patch notes is currently unknown. However, it is very clear that the one thing that the majority of players are looking to see changed on April 17th is the reverting of the version 8.20 change that saw the popular health and material siphon mechanic removed from the game's public playlists.

With the past few updates for Fortnite not putting Epic Games in a positive light with the game's community, the developer would be able to get back in their good graces by implementing various community requested changes. However, players will have to wait until the 8.40 update patch notes are released until they are able to find out if their wishes have been fulfilled.
