Ninja Discusses Being Called the Michael Jordan of Gaming on Jimmy Fallon

Tyler "Ninja" Belvins has risen to become one of the most popular entertainment personalities in the world, as his position as arguably the biggest streamer on the platform of Twitch has led Ninja in leading the way for the video game world to enter the mainstream culture. This massive impact that Ninja has had on the gaming world was once again highlighted when the star Twitch streamer made his second guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. This is where Ninja discussed the idea that many people view him as the "Michael Jordan of Gaming" and his thoughts on the comparison with Jimmy Fallon.

While speaking with Ninja, Jimmy Fallon stated that many people see the high-profile Twitch personality as the video game world's equivalent of Michael Jordan who is often regarded as the best basketball player to ever play the game and led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships.

This led to Ninja explaining to Jimmy Fallon that he views the comparison to Michael Jordan as a major compliment, but he has a long way to still go to make as a much as an impact Michael Jordan did when it comes to gaming.

"For me though personally, if anyone was to call me that I would take the compliment. You are always going to take that," Ninja stated to Jimmy Fallon. "For what Michael Jordan did to basketball, he brought it to a whole other level, and you know changed the shoe game as well. That's kinda exactly what I just want to continue to do with gaming. Just take it to where people see it as just gaming and then push it even more forward."

With Ninja recently being named one of Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2019, appearing in a commercial for this past year's Super Bowl, and having Ellen DeGeneres record a live show on his Twitch stream, there are definitely examples of how Ninja has changed the gaming world in massive ways that could be compared to what Michael Jordan did for basketball.
