Fortnite Shadow Bomb Smoke Grenade Item Announced

It seems like that it is impossible to go a week without Epic Games adding some form of new content to its popular title of Fortnite Battle Royale. From new game modes (such as the recent Avengers: Endgame crossover event), weapons, vehicles, and other items, there is always something new for Fortnite players to experience. This week is no different, as Epic Games has officially announced that a new Shadow Bomb smoke grenade type of item will be making its debut in Fortnite in the near future.

Fortnite Shadow Bomb Smoke Grenade

The announcement of the Fortnite Shadow Bomb smoke grenade was revealed through the in-game news tab of the battle royale game and showed off the design of the upcoming item. You can find the official announcement of the Fortnite Shadow Bomb smoke grenade in its entirety below.

Focusing on the aspects of stealth and utility in its official description of the new item, Epic Games looks to have players utilize this new item in order to stealthily approach and attack their enemies or escape from dangerous situations that may not be going in their favor.

The Shadow Bomb would be the first time that this particular game has had an item of its type ever since the smoke grenade item was removed from the battle royale title in its earlier days. However, with the title now one of the most popular video games in the world, it looks as though Epic Games is ready to see the smoke grenade make a return in the form of the new Shadow Bomb.
