Fortnite Squad Formation - 16 Player Lobby
The process for creating a 16 player lobby using the Fortnite squad formation feature is not a difficult one at all. In order to create this large group of players that will play on one team, you just need to invite them as you usually would before. Once you have passed four players, you will enter the brand new matchmaking mode. The players will then be separated into the four different squads of Llama, Bear, Dragon, and Crab.
Once you have invited all of the players that you wish to play with, all you need to do is select the game mode you would like to play and begin the matchmaking process. However, you can only use the squad formation Fortnite feature to create a 16 player lobby in Limited Time Modes (LTM) like Team Rumble and Food Fight.
With the newly implemented squad formation feature, players will now have the ability to create a 16 player lobby and play the variety of LTMs that are available on a rotational basis in the battle royale game with four times as many teammates as they were able to play with previously.
