The confirmation of the start time for the activity was made when Epic Games added a live countdown timer on top of the battle royale title's location. The beginning of the start countdown for the Loot Lake unvaulting event revealed that this highly anticipated and mysterious activity will be taking place on Saturday, May 4th at 12 PM PST/ 2 PM CST/ 3 PM EST.
Adding to the mysterious nature of what will be occurring in the game on May 4th, the official Twitter account for the popular battle royale title quote tweeted a community member who posted a tweet showing off the event's start time countdown. This post by Epic Games consisted of the mysterious phrase of "Beneath the gateway, light breaks through" leading many to believe that a currently vaulted weapon will be able to make a return to Fortnite when the start time countdown timer for the Loot Lake event reaches zero.
