OWL's Mayhem and Valiant Execute Blockbuster 4-Player Trade
By Wyatt Fossett ·
Three of Florida's top-tier talents are heading west to join the Los Angeles green and gold in exchange for one of the best Reinhardt players in the league.

During the break between Stages, the Florida Mayhem announced that they would be performing a near complete roster overhaul, and today this benefited the struggling Los Angeles Valiant. In an announcement today, the teams revealed a trade involving multiple members.
The future of the Florida Mayhem Overwatch League team is with a full Korean roster, something that the organization has been trying to fill out since their announcement back in early April. Their first stage of the year was abysmal and there was a dire need for a change up. In order to remove the communication troubles and build out their Korean roster, they had to put a few really talented english-speaking players off to the side.
A struggling Los Angeles Valiant took advantage of this situation and sent their best player (who happens to be a Korean-speaker) to the Florida organization in exchange for three of those awesome talents now sitting on the Mayhem bench.
In the trade with the Florida Mayhem, the Los Angeles Valiant have acquired main-tank FCTFCTN, incredible off-tank McGravy, and DPS player Shax.
All three of their new additions have plenty of talent, but have yet to truly find a proper home on the Blizzard Arena stage. This could be the move that Shax and company have been looking for. We will have to wait and see what the changes may be coming to the LA Valiant starting line-up.
Fate, on the other hand, could be the missing piece for the future of this Florida Mayhem franchise. Restructuring communication and line-ups aren’t things that pay-off overnight, but there’s a lot to build on with their current roster and future.
Thank you @Fate_ow for always going #WingsOut for us. We know you are going to #BringTheMayhem for the @FLMayhem. GLHF ?? Read More ➡ https://t.co/CdiidElMxf pic.twitter.com/utOh7jsiCC

Best of luck with the @LAValiant! pic.twitter.com/77KrhwJkpQ
Hopefully this big trade between two teams that really need new faces and upgraded futures will pay off for both of them. No news currently on who the Florida Mayhem Academy (where Shax and FCTFCTN have been playing) will replace the departed players with.
For now, all eyes are on the Overwatch League Playoffs which will continue running over the weekend.
