Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Phantom Sight Reveal in Milan
By Wyatt Fossett ·
The newest addition to Season 4 of the Rainbow Six Siege content calendar is almost here, and the Ubisoft team revealed all the info live at the Pro League Finals in MIlan.

During the Rainbow Six Pro League Season IX Finals in Milan this weekend, some of the Ubisoft design team held a special presentation prior to the start of the Grand Finals. Live on-stage, Rainbow Six developers revealed the new R6 Operation and with it the two new operators that have been teased on social media.
Operation Phantom Sight brings both the lack of vision and extra vision to the table in Season 4.
Warden - Defender
Special Ability - Turning on Warden’s glasses can protect him from flashbangs, remove a flashed state, and give him clearer sight in smoke.
This defender is going to be a real problem for offenses looking to breach rooms and halls with smoke or stuns. The fixed cooldown is the only thing keeping Warden from using his glasses continuously, making it a gadget with no use count during a match. His glasses count as an electronic gadget, however, so they will be disrupted by anti-gadget offensive operators.
Nokk - Attacker
Special Ability - Activating Nokk’s special silences her footsteps and makes her invisible on camera feeds.
“We had this idea for Nokk a long time ago, but we waited until there were more defending operators with deployable cameras so that she would have a bigger purpose,” said one of the team’s designers during the live presentation.
Nokk’s gadget runs on a charge so it can be turned on and off as many times as one likes without a cooldown, as long as there is charge in the gadget. It can also be activated without equipping anything, making it a breeze to go in and out of sight without putting your weapon away. On camera feeds, Nokk’s cloak will glitch if she does not remain moving at a normal speed or slower, or performing any action outside of swapping or reloading her firearms.
Cafe Update
With the new operation, comes a new map. Or, an old map made better. The Rainbow Six Siege team has almost completely remade the Kafe Dostoyevsky map from top to bottom. This new look Cafe will launch alongside the operation add-on, but will be a free addition as it will be replacing the old map.
For a full look at the live reveal, use the video embedded (above) and ensure you’re beginning at 6:37:00. Also launching with Operation Phantom Sight is the Elite Set and Skin for Lesion.
What do you think about the new operators? Things on both offense and defense are going to get either a lot easier to see, or harder to see depending on which side of the fight you are on.
Operation Phantom Sight is set to launch for Rainbow Six Siege soon and will be available at launch for all Season 4 Pass owners, and two weeks later for everyone else. The two new operators and the map rework will be available for test on the Test Servers starting this Tuesday, May 21st.
