Rift Rivals 2019

The Rift Rivals battle between North America and Europe for 2019 will be taking place in the LCS studio in Los Angeles, California on June 27th through the 29th. The schedule for the event will see matches begin at 12 PM PST/ 2 PM CST/ 3 PM EST/ 9 PM CEST each day of the tournament.

Utilizing the same format as the 2018 edition of the fan-favorite competition, the 2019 Rift Rivals event will consist of a group stage where each team will play one another once in a Best of 1 single round-robin format in order to determine a regional advantage for the Finals of the tournament. The Finals for Rift Rivals 2019 will then see a Best of 5 Relay race format take place where every team plays once in a Best of 5 to determine the winning region.

This winning region will be determined by the following parameters that consist of the stronger region from the group stage getting to counter pick the first three matches. The final two matches will then see teams for each region be chosen at the same with there being no chance of counter picks.

With region pride on the line, the teams from North America and Europe that will be competing in the 2019 Rift Rivals tournament will be looking to deliver their very best gameplay in order to take home the Rift Rivals 2019 trophy back to their home region.
