Dauntless Servers Down - Maintenance Status

The developers of the newly released console title took to the game's official Twitter account to announce that the game would be entering a maintenance period that would cause the status of the servers to go down. The reasoning for this maintenance period for Dauntless that resulted in the servers of the game to have a down status is to resolve a variety of problems that have been affecting the title.

// Service Restored //

Good news: Servers are coming back online!
Less-good news: We've had to limit the number of people that can play at once, which means that queues will be longer (for now).
Good news: Matchmaking times should be shorter.

// Entering Maintenance //

We will be taking #Dauntless down for maintenance while we work on some persistent issues. Slayers will not be able to log in during this time. No ETA for a resolution just yet, but we'll keep you updated.

Unfortunately, the developers did not have an exact time as to when the community could expect to see the maintenance for Dauntless to be completed to see the status of the servers no longer be down. However, they did state they would update interested individuals about the situation going forward.

This current maintenance period that has caused the servers to have a down status comes after a flurry of issues that have been affecting the community throughout Wednesday, May 22nd.
