FlyQuest's New Line Focuses on Supporting Women Beyond Games
By Wyatt Fossett ·
'We wanted to give more choices to women in esports,' says FlyQuest COO Tricia Sugita regarding the new line of Flightwear.

A few days ago, the young Esports organization known as FlyQuest revealed their newly designed Women’s line-up of merch. They also announced that 50% of the proceeds of this merchandise would go directly to the Women for Women International Foundation, a charity that helps women survivors of war rebuild their lives.
It would have been easy for FlyQuest -- an organization mostly known for their League of Legends team in the LCS -- to have cheaped out on one or all of the processes it takes to see this kind of product to market, but they didn’t. In fact, almost every bit of the process was run by the women within their organization.
The Women’s Flightwear line features items like a cropped hoodie, lounge shorts, leggings, tees, and a sports bra, and the entire line went on sale Friday, May 24th.
“We started this project last year because we wanted to give more choices to women in esports. Every piece in this line has been designed from the ground up by the women of FlyQuest for women who want to feel comfortable and confident in what they wear to express themselves,” said FlyQuest COO Tricia Sugita. “We are truly excited to unveil our very first line of women’s merch.”
Some companies often function on perceived knowledge of their targeted audience *cough* Cranium Apparel *cough* while FlyQuest simply empowers the women within their company to make products for the women who are out there looking for said products. It’s hard to go wrong when you are your target audience.
There’s an inherent beauty that has evolved from the maturation of the Esports industry. Big companies and brands have put time and effort into the merchandise and apparel made for Esports fans. It has grown up quite a lot.
As for FlyQuest’s desire to help others at the same time, “it is part of who we are as an organization to be a platform to help others,” said Sugita. “We believe wholeheartedly with Women for Women International’s mission to empower women and it is an honor to work with a partner bringing education and opportunities to women survivors of war and conflict.”
The amazing products from FlyQuest’s new Women’s Flightwear collection will no doubt sell fast, so be sure to check out the FlyQuest shop if you’re interested.
The LCS team, all the while, has been getting back to the grind as the 2019 Summer Split rounds the corner, beginning on June 1st.
