Overwatch League Announces JJoNak 2018 MVP Skin

New York Excelsior's DPS-dealing support will be receiving their own octopus-inspired Zenyatta skin in the near future. Check out the video of the reveal, JJoNak's reaction, fan concepts, and more!
Last year, Sung-hyeon "JJoNak" Bang of the NYXL was named the MVP of the Overwatch League’s inaugural season. This week, however, the League revealed that the player would be immortalized in-game with a new skin designed specifically for their signature hero, Zenyatta.
In a post to the official Overwatch League Twitter account, JJoNak and other members of the New York Excelsior meet Arnold Tsang—Lead Character Concept Artist for Overwatch—on the Blizzard Campus to finally see the 2018 MVP Skin.

When Tsang asks JJoNak what they think the skin will look like, the destructive support player responds, “I hope it looks somewhat like an octopus,” to which Tsang obviously appears pleased. JJoNak’s username is derived from the words “jjomullak najki,” which translate to fumbling octopus. When the canvas is revealed to the players, the NYXL are gobstruck, excitedly calling out aspects of the skin. Jong-ryeol "Saebyeolbe" Park notices that Zenyatta’s orbs are octopi. JJoNak immediately notices that his number is on the skin. Do-hyeon "Big Boss Pine" Kim mentions that it’s very cute and well-done.
While the viewer doesn’t get to see the skin, it should be arriving “soon” to Overwatch. Like many other Overwatch League skins, the 2018 MVP Skin will most likely be only purchasable with Overwatch League tokens. If past special skins like the Atlantic Mercy and Pacific Lucio skins that dropped for the 2019 All-Stars Game are any indication, players can expect the skin to cost 200 Overwatch League tokens.
