G2 Esports and Vitality Will Play for RLCS World Championship
By Wyatt Fossett ·
Championship Sunday is coming to a close, but first we will have to see who takes it all in one last match-up.
It’s been one crazy highlight-filled weekend of Rocket League action, but it’s all about to come to a head as two of the best teams in all of the RLCS have qualified for the finals.
Live from the Prudential Center in New Jersey, an entire field of top-tier Rocket League teams has been dwindled down to just two, who will now battle it out in the arena for their shot at glory, and the larger portion of a $320,000 prize pool.
G2 Steps Up Big
After a pretty close best-of-five in the Quarterfinals against Paris Saint Germain, G2 Esports would absolutely dominate their way to a full sweep of Rogue in the Semifinals Best-of-Seven.

The final game would see a surging G2 Esports rack up goal after goal and you just couldn’t help notice all of the air being sucked out of the three players sitting across from them. Kronovi of Rogue would score a late goal against G2 in the blowout, but there was not enough in them to stand up to the onslaught brought by G2.
Vitality Stun C9
There is no denying that Vitality have had a wild ride so far this weekend at the Rocket League Championship Series Season 7 World Championship tournament, and it would have been a victory just making it to the Semifinals of the elimination bracket. Especially considering they got matched up with the reigning World Champions in Cloud9.

It was, however, a fresh stroke, and complete dominance by Team Vitality that would see a sweep of Cloud9, sending Renault Vitality to the Grand Finals where they will face G2 Esports.
RLCS7 Grand Finals
Both Renault Vitality and G2 Esports have made impressive work of extremely difficult opponents today, and both squads have members that are vying for their first championship.
It’s going to be a crazy best-of-seven series, and it’s coming up next!
