Where Do You Find The L-Star?
The L-Star is a gold-tier weapon in League of Legends. It can only be found in supply drops. Bear in mind that since Season 2 launched, two Supply Drops hit the map immediately in addition to the Drop Ship and special blue ring zone. It will be risky, but if you can clear the way to an early care package, you could get an edge that will keep you going through the fight.
That said, there are still plenty of Supply Drops through an Apex Legends match that could also include the gun. Just be on the lookout for those drops if you want to get your hands on it.
Is The L-Star Worth Picking Up?
Like fellow gold guns the Kraber and the Mastiff, the L-Star is likely to have its lovers and haters. The gun puts out an extreme rate of fire and its projectiles are huge and easy to hit from hip or down-the-sights shots. Just mind the overheat, which will happen after 22 rounds of continuous fire.
The L-Star is best suited to situations like the R-99. It’s not really all that accurate past mid-range. It’s not that it’s spray and pray, so to speak. It’s simply kicks pretty hard once you’re letting loose. That said, if you can train yourself on the muzzle climb, there will be very little left on the otherside in a close to mid-range gunfight.
