The fan reactions to the gameplay is overwhelmingly positive, which is good considering there were many doubts about her inclusion after some retcon was revealed through a leak earlier last month. "The former Queen of Edenia will stop at nothing to keep her place," reads Sindel's in-game bio that was revealed in a recent Reddit leak. "When threatened with the loss of her throne when Shao Kahn conquered her realm, Sindel betrayed her husband, and her people, to keep her privileged position. Now Shao Khan's wife and Queen of the Outerworld, she enjoys power and wealth beyond most people's imagination. Good luck to anyone who tries to take it from her."

From there, fans were saying NetherRealm was messing too much with her lore, as if the revenant look wasn't enough to process for the more hardcore fans.

We'll get to see Sindel in action for ourselves when she arrives in Mortal Kombat 11 on November 26th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch players.
