Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to Have Melee Event

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the latest entry in the fan-favorite fighting game series and has become one of the most popular multiplayer games in the world. However, there is still plenty of love for the second entry in the franchise in Super Smash Bros. Melee, which has one of the most popular esports scenes in the world. This love for Melee will soon be celebrated in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with an upcoming in-game event.

This particular event will see a Melee inspired tournament take place in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate where only a select few fighters, stages, and items that were in the previous title will be available for players to use in their matches.

Pretty excited for this.

This is the closest we'll get to an official Melee HD of sorts?
