The Competition Heats Up!

2025 is now officially in the history books, which gives us a chance to take a look back as part of our “Year In Review” recap. In this instalment, we'll turn the spotlight on the amazing video game Challenges that brought gaming communities together like never before with incredible experiences and amazing competitive feats. We'd love to give a shout-out to each participant, but for the sake of space we'll highlight the top three finishers while inviting everyone to check out the rest of the competition on their respective leaderboards, which you can check out by clicking the competition link below. Now, let's go!
AIM & RUN BY LOGITECH G
Logitech G kicked things off in February with the Aim & Run by Logitech G Challenge where gamers jumped into the fray to complete the AIM & RUN PREFIRE Map in Counter-Strike 2 as quickly as possible. To say the competition was intense would be an understatement, and after the pixelated dust settled, the top three finishers emerged!
First Place: zoned
In first place was zoned, who was literally in the zone and finished the challenge in a blazing 46.680 seconds.
Second Place: spws12
spws12 took second place, and wasn't far behind with a blistering 47.220 seconds.
Third Place: eskyy
Rounding out the top three was eskyy who showed the right stuff with a fastest run time of 47.580 seconds.
KARL JOBST'S ABSOLUTE CHALLENGE – DOOM SPEEDRUN
In May, Karl Jobst teamed up with Displate Metal Posters and breathed new life into a beloved franchise with a new take on a classic. In the Absolute Challenge – DOOM Speedrun, gamers set out to complete Episode 1, Map 1 (E1M1) of The Ultimate DOOM as quickly as possible while achieving 100% kills, items, and secrets.
Normally, when speedrunning DOOM, players aren't lingering to achieve complete kills or retrieve all items since the typical objective is to finish the map as quickly as possible. What followed was nothing short of extraordinary as gamers challenged themselves to devise a completely new way to solve the first screen of a 30 year-old game.
First Place: Kinetic
Kinetic showed incredible skill as he dazzled with a fastest completion in 38.830 seconds to take top spot.
Second Place: kuckkuck
kuckkuck did himself proud as he finished his run in 40.140 seconds to take second place.
Third Place: mhrz
And just a hair behind was kuckkuck who secured a top 3 finish with an amazing run of 40.370 seconds.

AIM & RUN 2 BY LOGITECH G
As they say, one good turn deserves another, and just two months later after their original run Logitech G was back for AIM & RUN 2. As before, the objective was to complete the official AIM & RUN COURSE Map in Counter-Strike 2 as quickly as possible, but with a new map and new challenges along the way. After an intense back-and-forth competition, the top three finishers emerged.
First Place: Smieszneznaczki
Smieszneznaczki was in top form as he blazed a trail into first place with a fastest time of 42.578 seconds.
Second Place: nara
In the closely-fought contest, Nara delivered a fantastic performance of 42.828 seconds to take second place.
Third Place: blasdfa
Rounding out the top three, blasdfa was close behind with a hard-fought finish with 43.171 seconds.
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE

Following the success of these challenges, TG decided to take things to the next level with the ultimate collab – teaming up with a coalition of top gaming influencers representing more than 20 million fans with the creation of the Creator Competition Committee (CCC). Bringing together Karl Jobst, Wirtual, Muselk, SmallAnt, RoyalPear, Jessetc, Keeoh, and Enyu, the CCC will design and run creator-led competitions to help foster community and celebrate gaming culture.
WIRTUAL'S LOGITECH G PRECISION CHALLENGE
CCC member Wirtual didn't waste any time in putting the Committee's objectives into action. In September, he kicked off the world's first speedrun competition in TrackMania 2020 with Wirtual's Logitech G Precision Challenge. With the objective of achieving the fastest time on Wirtual's custom track, participants wasted little time in showing off incredible feats of gaming skill.
First Place: epos
At the checkered flag, Epos led the pack with a smooth-as-silk race that clocked in at 1:00.088 for a first place finish.
Second Place: keby
With gravity-defying feats, keby snagged second place with 1:00.302.
Third Place: WosileTM
And a whisker behind was WosileTM who drove into the winner's circle with 1:00.328 for third place.
THE SHOWDOWN
To close out the year, Wirtual wasn't done yet! In October he teamed up with Behz and Zerkaa for The Showdown in partnership with Bentley Motors. Competing on the iconic racing franchise Forza Horizon 5, competitors revved up their eligble Bentley vehicles to compete for the fastest lap time on the Playa Azul Circuit.
First Place: K1Z_Suimin
In a competition that came down to hundredths of a second, K1Z_Suimin clinched first place with a sweeping run of 58.688 seconds.
Second Place: ESV Pav
ESV Pav made his Bentley fly as he cruised through to the finish line for a second place finish with 58.799 seconds.
Third Place: OPR Zombie
And OPR_Zombie delivered a powerful race to take third place with 58.892 seconds.
