Michal Kellner parachuted out of a bomber and fought his way through hostile territory on Irem’s 1991 run-n-gun classic GunForce: Battle Fire Engulfed Terror Island, destroying the enemy with extreme prejudice and a new TG record of 2,137,400 points.
John Brissie – Burnout 3: Takedown (Xbox) – Dollars
John Brissie paid tribute to Australia’s most famous musical export on Burnout 3: Takedown for the Microsoft Xbox. Racing through the Highway to Hell challenge, he made AC/DC proud with a mayhem-inducing score of 2,381,844 points.
J.M. – Pocky & Rocky 2 (SNES) – Points
The seven wise people intoned, “Go rescue Princess Luna,” and J.M. answered the call with a new personal best on Natsume’s 1995 shooter Pocky & Rocky 2 for the SNES (PAL region). Matthew Neja – Bubble Bobble (NES Classic Edition) – Points
Matthew Neja takes his bubble popping very seriously - seriously enough to pop an 8 year-old record on Bubble Bobble for the NES Classic Edition console. Clearing 50 stages of squeaky-clean action, he closed out his run with a final score of 1,367,520 points. Congratulations!
Wiktor – Violent Storm (MAME) – Points
In the aftermath of World War III, Wiktor summoned all of his strength to destroy Lord Geld and free Sheena on Konami's 1993 side-scrolling beat 'em up Violent Storm. With an absolutely thumpin' soundtrack that has to be heard to be believed, Wiktor prevailed in his quest for justice on hardest settings without losing a single life, taking home 2,673,700 points and a new TG record.
