Codenames: Critical Role Adventures will be a D&D-inspired word game set in Exandria

Codenames, the award-winning party game, has spawned licensed spinoffs for Disney, Marvel, The Simpsons and Harry Potter. Czech Games Edition, together with designers Vlaada Chvátil and Felix Podlesny, is developing a new Critical Role-themed version set in Exandria. The game is slated for release by the end of 2026.

007 First Light Reveals New Details About Its Characters

IO Interactive's second Beyond the Light video, released on March 4, details the cast of the upcoming 007 First Light, which launches on May 27 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Switch 2. The game introduces a young James Bond mentored by Greenway (Lennie James), a younger, ambitious M (Priyanga Burford), a field-analyst Moneypenny (voiced by Kiera Lester), a professor-type Q (Alastair Mackenzie), and a new villain, Bawma, voiced by Lenny Kravitz. The developers say these characters are designed to shape Bond's early development and differentiate the title from IO's Hitman series.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Has Its Own Page on Steam Again - but There's a Catch

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has been given its own (unlisted) Steam store page, but it can only be accessed via a direct link and offers no official matchmaking-players can only use bots through the Counter-Strike 2 beta branch. Despite the lack of servers, the 14-year-old title still draws tens of thousands of concurrent players. At the same time, New York Attorney General Letitia James has sued Valve, accusing the platform of illegally promoting gambling to minors through games such as CS:GO, Counter-Strike 2, Team Fortress 2 and Dota 2.
