RESULTS: Vitality Return To Form in Victory over Splyce
By Zac Cameron ·
The EU LCS has been lacking a certain something lately, and that something is back in action as Vitality take down Splyce and keep the battle for the second place bye round alive.

Vitality have had an interesting split so far. They were dominant early, seemed to fall off quite rapidly, then wouldn’t you know it, they pull something like this off and get everyone excited again. Their victory over Splyce was a back and forth affair, full of highs and lows as both teams battle for the second place by coming into playoffs.
The match was a slow starter, with both teams not too eager to be overly aggressive. Vitality too the early lead thanks to the first turret of the game, though Splyce would secure the first blood in reply. Not to be deterred, Vitality bounced back to secure the first Dragon and the Rift Herald, before trading another death for a turret. Splyce would find an answer, taking down a turret for themselves before a large team fight nets them more kills. Though both teams would trade another turret, Splyce secure the next Dragon in an attempt to keep the gold difference low.
More skirmishes would erupt across the map, with individual members of both teams being caught out of position and taken down, before a larger team fight ended with both teams losing two members after Vitality secured another Dragon. With more fights popping up as Splyce try to defend their base, Vitality are forced to pull back from the siege, allowing Splyce to roam out and secure another Dragon. As both teams prepare for the Baron to spawn, Splyce are able to secure it, though the resulting team fight costs the entire Splyce squad their lives as Vitality chase them down and look to end the game. With Vitality literally at the point of victory, Splyce members attempt to defend one-by-one as they respawn, but prove unable to keep Vitality from their prize.
